We are now on the Western Australian Coastline that will take us on the Warlu way which is also known as the Sea Serpent . The road will take us along almost 3000kms of sapphire seas and offshore islands. We will visit lush gorges and go through quaint towns with nothing in but a roadhouse. We chose two well known beaches to stay at to enjoy each one with its individual beauty. They are 400kms+ apart on the same coast but you could see a vast difference in the landscape. Our first stop was to Cape Keraudren a Conservation Park
Cape Keraudren (Pilbara Region WA)
Location ~150kms North from Port Hedland (nearest town)
Cost~ $10pa/pn + $12 car entry
Cape Keraudren is a coastal conservation park and is looked after by the Pilbara Shire Ranger who lives on site. The Cape is a short drive from the main road on Bitumen and Dirt Roads. The Cape offers stretches of long white beaches and is a fishermanβs haven. The water is crystal blue and there are some of the northern beaches you can swim in. You will also find tidal creeks and sea grass meadows. There are reefs, seaweed beds and sponge gardens around the reserve for you to enjoy .You are also able to choose your magic camping spot when you arrive here. There are long stretches of coastal views along the cliffs with magnificent sea views , sometimes given so much choice it is hard to find that perfect spot to set up camp. We saw beautiful sunsets whilst enjoying a camp fire with friends on the beach and amazing Sunrises with spectacular orange colours .During our stay we saw some meteorites whilst enjoying the view of the Milky Way at night it was a great experience. This is great place to stay and relax on your travels you will not be disappointed .

Long White Beaches
Clearville Campsite (Pilbara Region WA)
Location ~ 25km North of Karratha
Cost~ $16 per caravan/pn
Clearville is run by the Roebourne Shire, they have caretakers on site from April- September. The camp site is located on the beach and once again has kilometres of unspoilt beaches with rocky beds once the tide is out. You are free to choose that magical spot once again. The beaches are a haven for different types of Shells and Rocks so your half an hour walk could turn in to hours ..it becomes pretty addictive trying to find the right one. We spent our days sitting in rock pools and walking along the beaches. Paul took the kayak out and caught x2 Queen Fish which we cooked that night. They were quite π delicious. During the summer months they have hatching of baby turtles along the coastline. Driving along the beaches at this time is prohibited. Karratha town is only a half an hour drive should you require any supplies. Nice relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy.

Morning walks are so special here.
