The Murray River is over 2500 kms long and situated in the South of Australia . It is popular for boat and water ski enthusiast. We chose to come and stay at this little gem at Swann Reach as part of our journey along the great river. This will be one of many stops we will have on our journey. We stayed one night and spent the afternoon when we arrived dodging flies and ants before we took the kayak out to see if we could catch some fish or yabbies…. 1 hour later no luck try again tomorrow. I woke up to the most spectacular sunrise i have seen in awhile with magnificent pink and red colours. It felt like being out on a Safari right outside your bedroom. The Free camp that we spent our stay at is one of many along the river. Most free camps are fully self contained camping and for 24 hours only. Enjoy the peace and serenity as we did.

Come visit this amazing place we were only here for a short time and enjoyed the river for its sunsets,sunrises,fishing and kayaking
