Princetown is situated on the Great Ocean Road and a 6 minute drive from the Twelve Apostles. We stayed at the Princetown Reserve which host a lot of Kangaroos. It is located back from the beach and sits on a swamp does not sound that appealing but was very pretty. We were located close to all the attractions the northern end of the Great Ocean Road has to offer.
Twelve Apostles – There are only eight left due to erosion over time. We went for the walk up on the cliffs for the view. There were never twelve apostles so don’t try to find them all just enjoy the view.
Lock ard Gorge-One of my favourite places has a secluded beach and caves which were formed over millions of years.
There is so much to see at the northern end of The Great Ocean Road. The walks are very close together down the road but you will see a significant change in the colouring of the cliffs and water. There are opportunities to look at the Great Ocean Road by helicopter 🚁 which I know would be spectacular 😉. So if your that way inclined do it . This coast is truly magical .An absolute tick for our bucket list The Great Ocean Road GOR another wonder of this country and world 🌎. Spectacular.
