Bathurst is one of the most well looked after towns we have visited so far. We stayed at the Show grounds which were immaculate – we could even see Mount Panorama from our camp site. Everything is close when you want to travel around and visit all the sites of Bathurst.

We tried the drive around the race track which was a real buzz. Couldn’t take the boys in the car, but they would’ve been “sh*t” scared anyway. For those speed enthusiasts be aware as they have Police speeding cameras on the track – unbelievable.

If you’ve got some time take a visit to the Abercrombie Caves as they’re meant to be quite epic if you’re into natural formations of rocks.
