This place is a little gem. It took us 1 hour from Glen Innes. Situated in Black Mountain 30 minutes out from Armidale. We had a great view and could hear the water from one of their springs all day long. The only downside was the damn flies. I sorted them out with my fly netting brought from BCF for $5 (best investment ever). The trout farm has some award winning trout dip which you can try on the tour for $15 per person.

The farm has 6 big ponds and people can come and fish have a picnic and a beer or wine and BBQ whilst trying to Catch the big . They have a BBQ and also clean your catch. Any trout that you catch must be purchased. They will also fillet your trout for free just ask the friendly staff. Paulie caught a 1kg trout which is the biggest catch of his life (apart from me), and it cost $18.

Deano started this business off as a hobby in 1996, and it is now his main business. Our camping place was close to everything including new toilets and showers. They also sell cryovacked bags of trout that they bag on site and smoked trout dips.
